The Cornerstone Church of Bertrand is built upon the Word of God and our personal faith in Jesus Christ. We hold to the great foundational truths of the historic Christian faith held in common by like-minded evangelical Christians with whom we share the mission mandate. We love God and desire to have others come into a personal relationship with the Savior. We value each person as an individual who has a need to recognize his or her lostness and need for a Savior. We believe the Scriptures are the primary way God speaks to us.

History

The Cornerstone Church of Bertrand was established in 1946 as a General Baptist Church. we In 2008 we became a non denominational church hoping to extend our outreach of God’s word to a broader spectrum of the area. We have kept our core values using the Bible as our guide to assure the well being of God’s church. We have made changes concerning the operation of the church and the election of officials for the church as needed but always using the Bible as our standard. We believe that God’s word is true and unfailing and obedience to it is the path to eternal life. We believe prayer, fellowship, obedience to God and the study of God’s word is vital to a strong healthy faith.
